Manchester Pride’s latest sponsor has been confirmed as Blue Rainbow ApartHotels – Manchester’s luxury serviced apartments.
Blue Rainbow began with a handful of apartments in Manchester and in just a few years has grown into an award winning hotel chain with 110 five star apartments including the newly acquired building in historic Edinburgh city centre.
Will Hannah and Jason Abbott, Directors of Manchester’s Blue Rainbow ApartHotels, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting Manchester Pride through our official sponsorship of Pride 2011. The cause is very close to our own hearts – this will be the ninth year that we’ve both attended as visitors and it’s always an amazing celebration.
It’s thanks to Pride in part, that we established Blue Rainbow ApartHotels six years ago. We recognised the need for accommodation that offered a welcoming and friendly alternative to impersonal city centre hotels and combined luxury comfort with the space and privacy we wanted during our visits to Manchester.
There’s great synergy between our brands, our people and our guest profiles, so sponsoring Manchester Pride seems like the natural next step in the evolution of our relationship.”
Jackie Crozier, festival director of Manchester Pride, said: “I’m really excited that Blue Rainbow ApartHotels will be sponsoring our 21st birthday. I think it’s wonderful that they came from humble beginnings in Manchester and are now a multi city enterprise. It’s also great to know that Pride goers played a part in their success. I’m very much looking forward to working with them closely over the coming months.”
