Manchester Pride, the city’s annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival is calling out for a new member to join the current board of trustees.
Trustees are recruited to ensure that the festival delivers its charitable aims and works within both recommended and legal guidelines.
The board of trustees is made up of professional persons, proprietors, senior managers and directors. The team is lead by the chair, Vicken Couligian and supported by Tim Pickstone, vice chair/treasurer.
The new board member will work closely with Jackie Crozier (festival director) and the other team members from Manchester Pride.
Vicken Couligian, chair of Manchester Pride, said: “We’re looking for a strong, dynamic, driven individual to take Manchester Pride through its 21st Birthday celebrations and beyond. The ideal candidate will come from a professional or business background in the voluntary, public or private sector and have organisational and management experience. A background in finance would be particularly useful.”
