Help Manchester Fight Homophobia

The international day against homophobia and transphobia (IDAHO) is set to make waves in Greater Manchester on Tuesday 17 May, with The Lesbian Gay Foundation (LGF) encouraging everyone to fly their rainbow flags.

IDAHO is a perfect way to celebrate and support LGBT communities internationally, with annual celebrations taking place in Fiji and right through to Australia and the UK.

Manchester Pride, gearing themselves up for their 21st Birthday celebrations over the August Bank Holiday (Friday 26 – Monday 29 August) is in full support of this inspiring day.

Jackie Crozier, festival director, said: “It’s such an important day for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community here in Manchester, as it is all over the world. It’s great to see such support for the cause.”

Show your support by flying your rainbow flag and staying proud of who you are this IDAHO.
