In perfect conditions, a bright opening saw the hosts ahead with just seven minutes on the clock when a corner from the left was cheekily back heeled into the corner of the net – a really well executed opening goal.

Despite creating a number of good openings HotScots couldn’t add a second before the break, with a powerful drive off the crossbar as close as they came. At the other end, Titans were restricted to a shot from the edge of the box and a dangerous low free kick which the keeper did well to hold under pressure.

HotScots carried on where they left off as the second period got underway, and a low drive into the left hand corner of the net put them two ahead. As the hour mark approached goal number three followed as the Titan’s keeper failed to hold a shot and the ball was forced home before he could recover.

At the other end, one or two dangerous crosses were well defended but on the whole, the keeper was enjoying a quiet afternoon. He almost had a rude awakening, however, when one of his defenders managed to head the ball clear via his own post!

Chances continued to flow for the HotScots, and a fourth goal completed a good day’s work with a lovely strike from the edge of the box, nestling low into the far corner of the net.

An excellent win means HotScots are the early pace setters in Division 1. Next up is a visit from the Yorkshire Terriers.
