Jackie Crozier, festival director of Manchester Pride, said: “This is a fantastic way to start the festivities. They say a dog is a man or a women’s best friend, so what a better way to celebrate the weekend than with your four legged chum.”
Lisa Graham, from Manchester Dogs home, said: “Manchester Dogs Home is really pleased to have the Pink dog show sponsored by Barking Barbers this year, together we will be presenting a much bigger event with a wide range of attractions for all dog owners and lovers and for the first time the show will have a theme – the land of Toto. We are hoping to see a lot of new faces on the day and are looking forward to crowning the King and Queen with the help of Cruella de Vil and Dorothy.”
This year’s Manchester Pride takes place from Friday 20– Monday 30 August 2010. For more information, please visit: www.manchesterpride.com
