The Lighthouse Gala Auction at Christie’s has become a fixture in the social calendars of London’s most fashionable set and raises much-needed funds for Terrence Higgins Trust, Europe’s leading HIV charity.
Now in its seventh year, the event has raised over £875,000. In 2004 Terrence Higgins Trust hopes to take that figure above one million pounds.
Terrence Higgins Trust always attracts the most glamorous of high profile supporters. In the last year our events have been attended by Nicole Kidman, Helena Christensen, Tracy Emin, Edward Norton, Sadie Frost, Nigella Lawson, Elton John and David Furnish, Cat Deeley and Jodie Kidd.
As usual there will be a fantastic array of luxury items, bespoke packages and ‘money can’t buy’ experiences on offer. Auction lots this year include:
Fly the trapeze in front of a live audience at Zippos Circus.
Lunch with Jackie Collins in Hollywood.
Tickets to a private view of the Vivienne Westwood retrospective at the Victoria and Albert museum and a tour by the V W head of design.
A one-off photographic portrait of Marianne Faithful by model-turned-photographer Helena Christensen.
The chance to have your own personal butler for a day –courtesy of Randolph Butlers
A nude portrait commission by photographic artist Allan Jenkins.
A limited number of tickets for the auction are available, priced £125 each, from Stuart Edmonds on 020 7816 4620
