Applications for Manchester Pride’s ‘Next Top Model’ competition will close in ten days.
This competition aims to find two models (one male and one female) that will appear in the festivals marketing campaign for 2011.
Entries are welcome until August 15 2010, after which they will be narrowed down to ten finalists and a panel of judges will select the winning pair. The judges are: Jackie Crozier (festival director of Manchester Pride), Andrew Stokes, (chairman of Manchester Pride), Rachel Joseph (celebrity photographer) and Anthony Crank (actor, broadcaster and DJ).

The prizes include:
* Two VIP passes to Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend.
* The chance to be the face of Manchester Pride’s marketing campaign and Visit Manchester’s gay and lesbian campaign.
* Winners will also receive copies of their photos for portfolio use.
Jackie Crozier, festival director for Manchester Pride, said: “There’s still enough time to get your application in if you’re interested in being the face of Manchester Pride 2011. I would encourage anyone who is passionate about Pride to enter.”
Manchester Pride is Manchester’s annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) festival which runs from Friday 20- Monday 30 August 2010.
