New Terrence Higgins Trust website offers personalised information and support

Terrence Higgins Trust launched a new user friendly website today which allows visitors to find exactly what they need, quickly and easily. The site: has new features which enable users to search for their nearest HIV and GUM clinics, or for Terrence Higgins Trust services like counselling and support groups.

The site also includes an online facility for ordering publications, up to date information on HIV and sexually transmitted infections and a media centre for journalists. For those seeking to support Terrence Higgins Trust, there’s a ‘How you can help us’ section, and a new online donation facility.

Genevieve Clark, Director of Communications at Terrence Higgins Trust said “We’re delighted with this new website. We’re now able to give people information that’s personalised to them – taking into account exactly what they’re looking for and where they live. There are still many misconceptions around HIV and sexually transmitted infections so we wanted to provide a site that gives detailed information but also points people in the direction of further help or support if they need it.”

The new website lists full contact details for all Terrence Higgins Trust offices, gives details of the telephone helpline service THT Direct and has a section aimed at professionals working within sexual health.

The site has been part funded by the Department of Health and was produced by in house staff and web agency Interesource.
