  • The Bench Mark B&B is a small town house (more of a cottage really) in the small country town of Kington, in darkest Herefordshire. Surrounded by wonderful scenery, Kington is well-placed for anyone wishing to explore this wonderful area.

Being Adam’s home, this is a very ‘homely’ bed and breakfast; the bedrooms (two singles and a twin) although quite small (‘cosy’), are clean and comfortable and guests are welcome to use the main sitting room if they so wish – a good place to just chill out and perhaps read a book after a day’s exploring or walking. Breakfast is taken in a dining room that also doubles as Adam’s work-room… so expect a certain amount of ‘creative clutter’…

Most diets can be catered for, with some notice please, but allergy sufferers should be aware that there is a resident cat.

The Bench Mark has a decidedly mixed clientele – mostly straight and mostly walkers doing the Offa’s Dyke long-distance path but, being gay himself, Adam is always happy to welcome fellow gays to his establishment. Please note however that the establishment is NOT clothing optional.
