Finally the weeks of waiting and speculating are over as Pride in Brighton & Hove announce a brand new partnership to host the Main Dance Tent at this year’s Preston Park event on Saturday 13th August – The Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundationä(LNADJ).

The Foundation, whose headquarters are based in Brighton and Ibiza, has been set up to harness charitable giving from the global dance industry and encourage DJs, clubbers, record labels, promoters and fans, worldwide, to work together to raise awareness and essential funds for a growing number of international and local charity partners and good causes.

“We are delighted to be working with LNADJ as host for this year’s Main Dance Tent”, says Mike Chalmers, Pride Trustee, “and we will be looking to work very closely with LNADJ to raise some significant funds for Pride in Brighton & Hove. Not only this, but we are very excited at the calibre of DJs that LNADJ are bringing to the party. With the dance tent capacity doubled for this year’s event and with such great names playing, we think this will be the best year yet”

Dance music fans can expect an exciting line up of local and national DJs alongside none other than The Godfather of British House Music himself, Danny Rampling who will be making a very special appearance.

Jonny Lee, Founder of LNADJ added: “The relationship with Pride is a major milestone for our Foundation and we are absolutely thrilled to be involved at such a major UK event. And the fact that Danny (one of the trustees of LNADJ) has made time in his schedule to make a special appearance for us this year is the icing on the cake. We hope this will be the beginning of a great collaboration that will go from strength to strength, keeping Pride the highlight of the local calendar and enabling LNADJ reach out to thousands more dance music fans with its fundraising message”.

Fundraising plans for Pride include a major raffle, alongside bucket collections courtesy of a number of LNADJ volunteers on site, sales of LNADJ exclusive merchandise and online donations through the LNADJ website. Party-goers are encouraged to go to the LNADJ website to find out more about the Foundation and how they can get involved at www.lastnightadjsavedmylife.org
