Pride in Brighton & Hove is seeking to strengthen its team by recruiting a part-time contractor to work with trustees, staff and other stakeholders to deliver this year’s annual Pride Parade, whose theme is Pride and (No) Prejudice, on Saturday, 7th August 2010.
In addition to the main Pride Parade the successful candidate will be asked to oversee the organisation’s messaging, including engagement with the membership. It is expected that the successful candidate will negotiate a fixed fee for the delivery of the project.
Pride chair Robert Clothier said: “The Pride Parade is a highly visible celebration of LGBT lives. Having a dedicated contractor working alongside the home team and the lead trustee responsible for the Pride Parade, will increase our capacity as an organisation. At the same time it will free up the time of colleagues to focus in on other equally important elements required to deliver a successful Pride festival in 2010.”
Expressions of interest, along with CVs need to be emailed to email@example.com and be received no later than noon on Monday 29th March. Interviews of short listed candidates will be take place on 1st April 2010.
