The LGBT Jobfair 2009

Wednesday 25 March from 11am to 5pm

Royal National Hotel, near Russell Square, London WC1

Thinking about work? Do you identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bi or Trans? Why not come along to The LGBT Jobfair and meet some of today’s employers. Employers who sign up to be part of The LGBT Jobfair are those who want to do something about inclusion, not just talk about it. Here you can speak with them face to face and find out options available for you. Even if you don’t find the job of your dreams, you may find interesting career opportunities. There’s nothing to lose, and maybe something great to gain.

A Place at the Table began the LGBT Jobfairs five years ago. The Jobfairs provide a unique opportunity to meet potential employers. This year, in the depths of financial crisis when jobs are being lost, it amazes us – and many others – that there is a LGBT Jobfair at all. The number of employers taking stands is less – of course – but they are still there. This is all down to a few great employers who want to make a difference even now.

The LGBT Jobfair is supported by The Mayor of London. And The Independent has produced a special Diversity Supplement to promote this year’s LGBT Jobfair – read it on line at Independent Online Edition: Diversity Supplement – 12th March 2009

More info is on the website: and the Facebook Group: LGBT Jobfair UK or contact us at

The LGBT Jobfair is FREE to visitors.

Look forward to meeting you next Wednesday.
